I still love Alices Resturant, my kids still remember this one from when they were growing up .. they use to moan when I would put it on at Thanksgiving while I was coooking.
Love the image.

Arlo’s song certainly struck a goldmine that spans the ages.

Gotta love those twenty-seven glossy photographs with the circles and arrows and paragraphs on the back explaining everything…
Wonderful homage to a wonderful song that I’ve been with since the beginning. There are two immutable traditions in my family: Alice’s Restaurant at Thanksgiving and A Christmas Story during the Christmas season. Of course, either one is great any time of year!

Good for you and thanks for playing along. Fall is in the air around here and that means that Arlo is close by.

Fantastic photo and haven’t heard that tune in ages – my mother use to sing the refrain when she was feeling put upon in the kitchen by domestic duties! As a kid I could never figure out why but slowly over the years put together the pieces…. Thanks for your entry.
