Travel Theme: Benches

Ailsa’s photo challenge subject this week is benches. I photographed this rustic bench along San Antonio’s famous River Walk.

What a lovely place that looks to walk, Allan.

I recognized the River Walk immediately, one of my favorite places. I lived in San Antonio way back in the 70’s when it wasn’t so nice, long before they reclaimed it.

    Lovely picture.

It’s nice to hear from you, Valentine. I had a great time in SA and cooling off along the River Walk was a welcome treat in the evening heat.

How interesting. I was just there myself (as is evidenced by my post on the subject)

Very good shot. I like the colors and clarity; although, not shot with a Leica, I see. 😉

I remember your SA photos, good ones all. I would not mind returning again in the future. It was a good experience.

Great shot – this is a place I’ve wanted to go for an age… your picture just reinforces that! 😉

I had a good time in San Antonio and the humidity reminded me why I don’t miss South Fla.

If I may recommend a restaurant to top off your visit it would be Fogo de Chao . It is a Brazilian steakhouse, a bit on the pricy side, but ultimately worth every penny.

      Have fun, Allan
