Today’s WordPress Weekly Photo Challenge is to take an image from our world that holds “the promise or portent of the future.”
Strange is it not? That of the myriads who
Before us pass’d the door of Darkness through,
Not one returns to tell us of the Road,
Which to discover we must travel too.
— The Rubaiyat, LXIV, by Omar Khayyam
This is my interpretation of the many possibilities that lie before us as we travel The Road.
Photo Notes: iPhone 5, Olloclip fish-eye lens, Pro HDR app, edits were made in Snapseed.
Interesting shot…although it was the quote that got my attention first 🙂

Do you give iPhone photo classes. I’ll sign up. I was tempted by that lens now I may surrender to it. Great shot!

I do not give classes, I am still learning. Here is a link to the man who inspired me to do more with an iPhone camera: http://rubicorno.com Check out Davide’s Portfolio.

Love this post! How do you like the olloclip?

I am very happy with the Olloclip lens. It is well-made and it is the perfect accessory for interior shots and wide views. They have an app, Ollocorrect, that can be used to edit photos.

Great! Have used any other lenses on the phone?

No, just the Olloclip. I recently read that someone has an optical zoom in development, but no further news on that item.

Thanks. The combination of late afternoon side-lighting from the windows on the staircase landings and the incandescent lighting from the hanging fixture came together for a warm photo.
