Compassion is not compassion without action.
—Vivienne Haar

Vivienne Haar is a remarkable 9 year-old who has made a stand against child slavery. From her neighborhood in Fairfax, CA , Vivienne has given away lemonade in return for any donation that ‘felt right’ to the thirsty party. On day #173 she exceeded her goal of helping 500 enslaved people (the total count was 550).

Make A Stand Lemon-aid = Hope in a Bottle

Not one to rest on her laurels, Vivienne wants to continue to help those less fortunate. With the guidance of her parents she is setting up a ‘social-purpose company’ to bottle her lemonade. All profits will go to the battle to end child slavery.

“If you want to change the world, you’ve gotta shake it up!”
