A Sign of the Times?

Recently I have combined my love of signs with my new passion for iPhoneography and photo editing. The photo below is one of those Only in California shots that I took on a creek bank near a local high school. I am still puzzled by how the otters know to cross the road at this location.

Ha ha yes I’d love to know what makes that spot their designated crossing spot!!

I would have never guessed that was an otter without being told! Love the additional editing, makes for a great picture.

How do the know to cross where the sign is? Can they read? LOL Love your photo! 🙂

I’ve always thought of otters as being incredibly fast … too fast to get hit by a car. But maybe that’s just in the water.

They are fast and low to the ground. We were at the San Francisco Zoo once when some otters made a break for it. It was ‘Keystone Cops’ time for the crew that had to round them up.
