Sunday Post: Toys

“Toys, objects that serve as playthings for children.”

The Fabulous Mizz N has always enjoyed expressing herself through art projects. Here are some photos that I took at the Discovery Museum in Sausalito one hot Summer’s day.

Children are amazing in what they open us as adults up to.

We both had a great time. FMN has preferred artistic endeavors over playing with dolls, etc. as she has matured. It is going to be fun to see where life takes her.

      Thanks for the comment, Z.

she already knows by instinct that there’s more to life than playing with dolls! (i never cared for dolls either!) she is going to tap into an amazing vein of wisdom that will give her emotional and spiritual maturity way beyond her years. when her peers are stuck in one identity crisis after the next, she will continue to listen to her own voice! hoo-rah! tell her that she has one fan in ecuador who was once an elementary art teacher. i would have loved to watch her walk through my doors each week!

Thank you so much, Z. I will pass along your kind words to the FMN.
