Whatchacallit? — iPhoneography continued

I took this photo with my iPhone4…

A nostalgic view.

I am unsure whether to call this second image a photograph or something else — an iPhoto, an edPhoto? It looks like an old postcard to me, like something from 30 years from now.

Is there a word out there already or will we have to come up with a term to define these photographs that have been edited into another form?

Please share your thoughts on this subject. I am eager to learn what you think.

I’d call the second aged or distressed. It’s far too well composed for a hipstamatic or lomo. The color shift reminds me tad bit of old school cross-processing. Either way I like it.

Good points. The color shift in the second one is a bit like the old Polaroid-transfer images popular in the 80s. Thanks for the reminder.

Definitely postcard material. Can’t think of a good name… iPostcard?
