This is a look skyward inside Frank Lloyd Wright’s Marin County Civic Center building. We were there to render unto Caesar (pay our property taxes) and I never pass up an opportunity to marvel at, and to photograph, this masterpiece. Over at Lens and Pens by Sally this week, it is the Black & White challenge. Try as I might, no matter what angle-of-view I used, I could not get those numbers centered over the window frame—a true challenge for this detail-oriented photographer.

Here is a view of the backside of Scott Hall on the campus of the San Francisco Theological Seminary in San Anselmo, CA. Built in 1892, it houses classrooms on the first floor and a student lounge on the second floor.
