Your must have a ton of smoke down there. Stay safe.

Thanks, Cee. We have remained inside the house for the majority of the last week.

Very sad and frightening. We saw a slight improvement in the air quality number in SF today but it is still unhealthy and awful. Tragic time for our Californians in Paradise and down in Malibu.

Yes, it is. I was talking to a buddy of mine today about the debacle in Paradise and he picked up his phone and asked Siri what the air quality was in SF. It was 175. He asked for the air quality in Paradise, CA. It was 466. He said that it was over 500 yesterday or the day before.

Oh, that’s awful! It was much worse in SF today. I started wearing a mask and got an air purifier. These conditions are scary. LA seems to be OK with its AQ now.

The mask and purifier are good ideas, Jane. Stay safe and healthy until this clears.

I think that it won’t be long before full-face motorcycle helmets will be on the market with replaceable filter options.

Thanks, Janet. We can add them to all of the ones around here. Late October-Early November can be a cruel time in CA.

It’s an inconvenience down here and a disaster for the folks at the fires. A little rain would help everyone at this point.

So true, great way to show how bad things are. Jim volunteers at Albany Pool and they it was closed last week probably still is.
