Beautifully zen in black and white. I could really do some thinking in a place like that.

That was in the living room of our friends in Washington state. Lots of textures and soothing vibes.

Expresso, now and then. I drink pretty much any cup of black coffee that’s in front of me.

Thanks, Sally. I converted it from a punchy color photo. They both have their good points.

Thanks, Tina. It’s a lot of fun to work with what’s in front of us and not what we think we might want to photograph.

I prefer my coffee with chocolate (mocha) or as a cappuccino and next to the rocks. 🙂 Or with me sitting on rocks in the mountains or by the ocean. Clever and lovely shot, Allan.

True and I can make do with a nice coffee shop if those aren’t available 🙂 I’m flexible.

A nice warm place to be flexible is a good thing.

Well done photo. Hipstamatic does such a good job of depth of field. Or should I say you do a good job of it.

Thanks, Andrew. This is the first time that I have tried tweaking the focus across a photo.
