I like the different emotions I can interpret in the face. The triangle reminds me of the painted face of a sad clown. The bowler hat gives a sense of time gone by. I like the patterns a lot and how the yellow spaces seem to frame the face.

Thank s for your comments. This mural is my touchstone for trying out new Hipstamatic combos/techniques and this particular figure has a bit of an Obama-esque vibe to it.

Very moving. You captured this image as if it were a real person’s face.

Lovely! I’ve gotten into Hipstamatic now, and having so much fun with it. Are you on Instagram?

I’m not on Instagram or any social media platforms. It’s a long story that started last October.

That sounds intriguing, but will leave it there.

I don’t miss any of them, but I do miss the photography groups I joined.

I like it and I like that triangle that looks like a tear falling. Happy Tuesday.

Thanks, Janet. I agree with you—it is a nice touch. It brings to mind the famous photo of the porter on the side of the railroad tracks as the train passed by carrying FDR’s body back to Washington, D.C.
