The B&W does a great job capturing the details in the wood’s grain, the wild grass and the surrounding trees. I bet that peace just bathes over you while sitting there 🙂

The peace does bathe over you, Jose. We stop by there as often as we can when we go out to Pt. Reyes.

I absolutely love this shot. Even more, I’d like to sit here with a book or a journal and just listen. There’s magic afoot in the trees.

There is always a breeze off the ocean and lots of grazing cattle scattered across the countryside. Quite bucolic.

What a wonderful thing to transform this tree trunk to a bench to rest on and really feel nature.

It’s at the crest of a rise over the Lifesaving Cemetery and has a sweeping view of the distant ocean.

Fun imagining the view. The bench is a view too. So soft for a bench

Well done, especially enjoyed the conversion to monochrome.
