I used the Portrait Mode with the Contour Light setting of the native camera in my iPhone X to take this photo. I made further edits with the Luminar app.
Thanks, Jim. We have a few pink ones (not this one) under the Monterey Pine on our hillside out back and they are beautiful pops of color in the shade.

Hi, Gilian. The cameras in this latest generation of iPhones provide so many options for mobile photography that they are truly the “Box Brownie” of the 21st Century. What are your favorite photo apps?

I honestly don’t use any apps anymore. I just play with the native options in photos or use the filters. =) Not that I don’t need them, I just don’t want to download too many apps. =)
Here’s my latest of the Harley Davidson photos. I just the vivid warm I think for this one and it looked vintage already. http://islesgilian.com/harley/
Thanks for the link to your photos, Gilian. I like the choice you made to go with the vivid warm filter in the native camera. This is a nice bike. I’m sitting here thinking about the big black Harley I had back in the early ’80s. Thanks for the memories.

Beautiful colors. The shades of pink are framed exquisitely by the surrounding greens. Another great photo.
