Photo of the Day 3/12/17

This is another photo from my recent visit to the Marin County Civic Center. Frank Lloyd Wright left a treasure trove for photographers when he designed this futuristic building.

A detail photo of a decorative feature at the Marin County Civic Center.

Wow! This is totally eye catching. Like some sort of mystic, Buddha eye. Cool!

Thanks, RX. He’s the little Zen Master in our backyard succulent patch.

Thanks, Al. He must’ve defied gravity because I’m in Hog Heaven when I am at the MCCC taking photos, or just walking around (looking for a spot to take more photos).

Hog Heaven makes sense, cause I heard Wright was told he would defy gravity when pigs could fly.

It is a bit opposite of those mirrored Garden Gazing balls that were popular during the ’50s in the mid west.

I think it’s neat. 😊 I would hang a print of that to accent a room and bet it would become a conservation piece..

Thanks, Janet. I can’t wait to get back there when the entire facility is open.
