Phoneography and the Non-SLR Digital Devices Photo Challenge: Nature

I am using the Hipstomatic photo app on my iPhone a lot more often these days and last Friday they released a new film/lens combo pack. I purchased the Jamaica HipstaPak for the low price of $.99 and I’m having a blast with it.

This unedited photo was taken last Saturday under overcast skies and I love the way the green color “pops” in the frame.

Beautiful, Allan. It’s nice to see your Hipstamatic choices, it’s one of my favorite apps and I use Hipstography for reference frequently. 🙂

This works very well, Allan. I keep telling myself I have to get some of these apps, but I’m still using Picasa to edit. Ahhh, well, that saves some fun for later. 🙂

Hipstamatic is for shooting only. There are several settings that you can play with prior to taking the photo. Checkout the link I sent to Carol for the Hipstography site. There are some good tips and beautiful images on it. Ω

So did you sneak into my garden when I wasn’t looking? I guess we are all growing sucullants insead of real flowers.
Now I have not been able to figure out where to take photos with Hipstomatic. Maybe I looked at the wrong app. I saw it used by a National Geographic photographer.
    Happy Monday

Hipstamatic is such a treat. It seems to have a never-ending combination to explore. Like this effect and its hues. Happy Photo Challenge.
