Black and White Challenge: Day One

I have been challenged by several photographers to post a Black & White photograph everyday for 5 days, and to invite other photographers to participate.

My first photo is a silhouette of the water wheel of a grist mill in St. Helena, CA. I nominate Frizz, over at Flickr Comments, to join me in this challenge.

thank you very much for the honor, Alan, but I can’t blow away the dust off my camera because I actually have in my focus that a blogger from Saudi Arabia has to suffer 1,000 times punishment for blogging.

Anyway you wish to participate—or not—is fine, Frizz. I just saw your photo and like it a lot. I will go back and read the article. Thank you for your response.
