“…this week, give us some heebie-jeebies!” —WordPress Weekly Photo Challenge
While in Atlanta I took a shortcut through a vacant building site and found clothing strewn about. The effect on me was unsettling—creepy—to say the least. I snapped a quick shot of these few items and quickly moved on.
I used the Jane lens and Kodot XGrizzeled film combination in the Hipstamatic app to take this photo.
Good choice for creepy, Allan. I agree, why do we see so many discarded clothes… and shoes?

Does make one wonder. I almost chose a similar photo. Why would there be discarded clothing at so many different sites?

I agree. It was twilight and a light rain was falling. A good time to be somewhere else. Ω

I hike a lot and always find it strange and unsettling to see pieces of clothing strewn about in the forest.

I wonder what state of dress/undress the owner is in—and am I going to run into them soon?
Thanks for your comment, Marie. Ω

The bright colors make it more creepy. You don’t want to think about why the close are there. I have a foto of a homeless camp taken from the Berkeley pedestrian bridge over I80, I too took the pic and ran. I have few like that they are social commentary but I always feel like an intruder too. What do you think?

I also have those feelings of being an intruder at times. Have you ever read anything about the photographer, James Nachtwey? He gets up close and personal with his subjects to an amazing degree. There isa documentary on him titled, War Photographer. It is worth a look if you want to explore those feelings you have with Street Photography. Ω
