We are in the 20s here tonight. A good day for making soup and baking bread 😉 A reprieve tomorrow, then back to a very cold week with several chances for snow. We had a beautiful snow yesterday which left our streets OK for rush hour. What more can one hope for in February? Best wishes, WG

A pot of soup and freshly baked bread—be still my heart! Stay warm and enjoy the quiet of the snow.

We need rocks in our pockets tonight, Allan, the wind is so brisk! No snow here, but we got in just ahead of the front. We’re just listening to the wind gusting, and to what it is knocking over. I left a big bowl of freshly made dough in the refrigerator today while I was out of town. It escaped, and was trying to open the fridge door! My husband corralled it back into the bowl, and I scraped it down again tonight after its second escape. Looks like it is headed for the oven tomorrow!
Best wishes, WG

I hope that you survived last night’s storm and taught the dough a lesson.

We have, on both counts 😉 The dough is rolled into submission and obediently rising. A tree came down next door, and the air is full of the ‘music of the chainsaws.’ We’ve had quite an historic ‘blow’ for February. Hope you’re well and have had a much less exciting time of it 😉 WG

We are having an embarrassment of riches this weekend in NorCal. It is sunny & funny, and currently 66 degrees. Wishing you warm weather in the near future.

Interesting you would say that, Allan. I was just reading this, which you may find interesting. The embedded video shows the mechanics of the drought. Illuminating… http://www.geoengineeringwatch.org/climate-engineering-and-the-manipulated-perception-of-the-us-population/ Thank you for the warm wishes 😉 WG

By the way, did you see I nominated you for the 5 day Black & White Photograph Challenge…..will you take part? (I hope so)

Yes, I saw that. I sent you a reply (I thought). I was nominated by someone else already, and will be participating next week. Perhaps I can nominate one person for your part of the challenge?

Oh, being nominated twice won’t matter, I’m sure! I didn’t actually get a reply…perhaps it’s in my spam!
